1. Figure out your energy requirement

Based on your current attributes and activity level, you need to be consuming a certain amount of calories per day to meet your desired body goals.

Use our calorie calculator to identify how much calories you need to be consuming per day.

 

2. Make sure you’re eating your prescribed calories everyday

Now that you know how much calories your body needs, you’ve got to start making sure you’re ACTUALLY eating them right amount of calories everyday.

Keep track of the food you eat using any tracker available online. Our personal favourite is MyFitnessPal.

3. Eat high protein.

We cannot emphasize this enough. 

While a caloric deficit will help you lose fat, ensuring your diet is high in protein will help you retain muscle while you lose fat, ensuring you look ripped rather than scrawny as you lose weight.

 If you strength train, eating high protein will further help you build more muscle while you lose fat, making you look lean and muscular.
